ABOUT DIG/IT

DIG/IT is run by James Shovlar GBCT who has over 10 years of experience in the film and TV industry. 

 

James began working in the industry due to a long-standing love of cinema which developed during his childhood. He began working as a camera trainee on several NFTS productions, before moving into digital imaging, under the guidance of an experienced DIT.  Whilst working as an assistant, he was fortunate enough to gain valuable experience on notable blockbusters including Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

 

Since starting work as a DIT, James has had the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including Black Mirror and Peaky Blinders. James has always been very inquisitive and the role has allowed him to grow his interest in digital cinematography. He has always had a fascination with technology and, as a DIT, he is able to constantly research and test out new cameras and software.
